Dr Navid Afsharipour has been working as a General Practitioner since 2008. He has practised medicine in both regional and metropolitan areas across Australia since 2012, and before that, he worked as a Specialist GP overseas.
Dr Afsharipour holds a Medical Doctorate (M.D.) and has General and Specialist Registration with the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (Fellowship of RACGP). He is passionate about all aspects of general practice and believes that a strong relationship and good communication between doctor and patient are key to achieving the best outcomes for each consultation.
With advanced training and professional certificates in skin cancer medicine and surgery, Dr Afsharipour has a particular interest in skin cancer, cosmetic (aesthetic) procedures, women’s health, and other skin conditions. He also has extensive experience in mental health and enjoys seeing a wide variety of patients, using his knowledge to achieve the best possible outcomes for each individual. In addition to English, Dr Afsharipour speaks several other languages.
Outside of work, Dr Afsharipour enjoys playing bass and electric guitar, listening to music, rowing, cycling, and spending time with family and friends on the weekends.
